This isn’t just a beautiful trip with picturesque views of the lake. It’s
a journey dedicated to the history and myths of the Zarasai region, an exploration of
the secrets of the islands in Lake Zarasai, Lake Zarasaiša, Lake Balta, Lake Laukesa, and the Nīkaja (Laukesa)
River. You’ll learn how the history of Lithuania and Zarasai is
connected to the Latgale region and Daugavpils.
- Arrival at “Senčių Village”!
Senolių kaimas (translated from Lithuanian as “Ancestors’ Village”) is an ethnographic village located near the village of Vajaškiai in the Zarasai District of Lithuania, offers a wide range of authentic activities, providing an opportunity to delve into and experience traditional Lithuanian rural life from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
- Excursion to Aukštaitija National Park. A journey to the heart of Lithuanian nature with a local guide.

- You can reserve a spot on the trip by: calling 26617848, filling out the application form on the website www.mari.lv, or sending the application to info@mari.lv
- If you reserve a spot without payment, the reservation is valid for 3 days; after that, the company reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
- When reserving a spot, the customer must pay a deposit of 40% of the trip cost.
Important Information:
- The tour operator reserves the right to change the order of excursions during the trip
- Minor schedule changes, late arrival at the hotel, and late return home are possible due to unforeseen circumstances (such as adverse traffic conditions)
- Tours are conducted in Russian
- Free time will be provided unless there are unforeseen circumstances, traffic jams, or other deviations from the schedule
- Children also need a passport to travel. Minors (under 18 years of age) also need a birth certificate. If a minor is traveling without parents, a notarized power of attorney is also required.
